Thursday 25 March 2010, by European Anti Poverty Network

On the 14th April 2010 at the European Parliament, Brussels 15.00 - 18.00 FEANTSA will launch its campaign with a hearing called ’Ending homelessness is possible! How can the EU effectively contribute to the fight against homelessness?’ This event is co-organised by FEANTSA, Liz Lynne MEP, Britta Thomsen MEP, Karima Delli MEP, Ilda Figueiredo MEP, Jacek Protasiewicz MEP and Projekt Udenfor.

It will be an opportunity to discuss the ways in which EU can facilitate effective action to tackle homelessness. The event will also launch the publication ’Ending Homelessness: a Handbook for Policy Makers’ and FEANTSA member Projekt UDENFOR’s exhibition of life-size sculptures of homeless people by the Danish artist Jens Galschiøt.
