It wears you down. Nobody prepared me for living in such harsh conditions" - "days without bread are the longest days" - "every agency wanting the same papers. And more photocopies every time" - "hard to talk about, but when I did start to talk to others I felt no different from them and I wasn’t embarrassed" - "my children inheriting my poverty"

In the context of the European Year 2010, two associations - Clara from France and Babelea at European level - with the support of EAPN France, have created this short video to give voice to migrants.

Questions about daily life, why they left their home countries, dealing with a new language and culture… are asked to Anissa, from Algeria and Oscar, from Peru, who decided to move to France for a new start.
