CECODHAS - Housing Europe (CECODHAS - Housing Europe)
CECODHAS – HOUSING EUROPE is the European Committee for social and cooperatives housing, a network of national and regional social housing federations. Together the 45 members in 19 EU members States manage 25 millions dwellings. CECODHAS members work together for a Europe that provides access to decent and affordable housing for all in communities which are socially, economically and environmentally sustainable and where all are enabled to reach their full potential.

Planned activities
Beyond the common activities with the EY 2010 NGOs group, CECODHAS has already :
- published a compilation of case studies about the fight against poverty and social exclusion in the housing sector (October 2009)
and we will:
- organise a conference with EAPN on combating energy poverty, as part of the 2010 European Sustainable Energy Week (March 2010)
- deliver political messages linked to combating poverty and social exclusion to the European informal meeting of Ministers in charge of Housing (June 2010)
- support and advertise the initiatives of our members related to the European Year
